For a technical problem, please include: your iPhone model, your iOS version, the app version (shown on its App Store page) and a precise description of what you were seeing.

How it works

Create an alarm: time, repeat days, and the mission you will have to complete to stop it.
The alarm rings at the set time — through Silent mode, through Focus modes, and even if the app has been closed.
Do the mission. Until it is completed, silencing the alarm only postpones it by about ten seconds. That is the whole point of the app.

Frequently asked questions

The alarm did not ring

Check, in this order:

Is the "Alarms" permission granted? Settings ▸ Wakey Wakey. Without it, no alarm can be scheduled at all.
Was the alarm enabled in the list, with the right weekday selected?
Was the device switched on and charged? An iPhone that is off or out of battery cannot ring.
Airplane mode does not prevent the alarm from ringing, but a scheduled shutdown does.

For any wake-up with something important riding on it, set a second, independent alarm. See article 2.2 of the Terms and conditions.

How do I stop the alarm for good?

By completing the mission. That is the only way provided. You can also disable or delete the alarm in the app beforehand.

I silenced the alarm and it came back ten seconds later

That is the intended behaviour. The alarm always returns, at a constant interval, until the mission is completed — whether you silenced it with the slider, with the side button, or by force-quitting the app.

The "QR / barcode" mission cannot find my code

Is the camera permission granted? Settings ▸ Wakey Wakey ▸ Camera.
The scanned code must be exactly the one you registered when creating the alarm.
Light the code well and hold the device about twenty centimetres away.
A tip: pick a code that lives far from your bed — that is the entire point.

The "Shake" mission will not complete

Hold the device firmly and shake it decisively, in a clear space. The threshold depends on the difficulty you chose; you can lower it in the alarm's settings.

Can I change the alarm sound?

Not at this time: the app uses the system alarm sound, which is the only one able to cut through Silent mode and Focus modes.

Are my alarms sent anywhere?

No. The app has no network connection whatsoever; everything stays on your iPhone. See the Privacy policy.

Which iOS version do I need?

iOS 26.1 or later, on iPhone.

Is the app paid?

It is free today, with no in-app purchases and no advertising. The publisher reserves the right to introduce paid features in the future; a version already installed will never become paid after the fact. See article 8 of the Terms and conditions.

How do I delete all my data?

Delete the app: iOS erases its entire contents, alarms included.
